“We were discouraged on how we were going to meet all of the children and family’s needs in our community and programs. Then we got a phone call from Talcott Center for Child Development. The timing was prefect to start a collaboration and work together! The ‘Bristol=Resilient Children’ was created to approach the challenging issues of social emotional well-being of the families we work with. This team now has the ability, resources and motivation to support our children and families, and train our staff.  It is encouraging that we will reach our goals with the assistance of the Talcott Center for Child Development to ensure that children become more resilient and lead happier lives.”

“We have been working with the Talcott Center for Child Development since 2018. They first reached out to us to explain their program and make us aware of the services they can provide for our children at the center. It has been a wonderful partnership ever since. The staff and the services they provide have been nothing but professional and very helpful to the children that are in need of some extra help to get them to play catch up in their development. The program directors are easy to contact and very accommodating. The services that the staff provide has helped the teachers become more aware of the individual child’s specific needs and the teacher’s at the center can use these tools and strategies to help the child become more successful during their day”
