Pull out your baseball gloves, soccer cleats and football jerseys because we’re hittin’ the field!  Our all new sports group is taking fitness and fun to a whole new level.  This new program includes the benefits of our Mighty Muscle program, while incorporating sports specific concepts and strategies.  We’ll practice our batting, dribbling, kicking and throwing during motivating games and activities designed to build strength, coordination and endurance. 
 
Through hands on lessons and situational drills, children will gain a basic understanding of how certain sports are played while learning the rules and regulations of each specific sport.  Our group program rotates each season to address a new set of skills.  Our occupational and physical therapists, along with our sports instructor, will focus on improving your child’s body awareness, motor planning, timing and coordination to increase confidence  and personal success!
 
This group will occur off site at local playing fields and facilities according to the sport and skill we are addressing.  In addition, we will attend local sports events in order to engage in the excitement of these activities, as well as to observe and learn from the pro’s!  The session agenda will be provided at the commencement of each group session.
