That's right, we are combining forces in a group setting for the best of both worlds!  Typically done in a co-treatment setting here at Talcott on a one to one basis, this successful approach has proven to be a hit!  When implemented in a group setting, we are able to pull social skills, fun activities, themes and group dynamics into the treatment session.  Children will experience both OT and Speech therapy techniques allowing them the opportunity to apply and practice a variety of motor skills in a language rich environment.  Skills are addressed through the dynamic use of literature based activities, gross motor games, art projects and snack.
