The Talcott Center for Child Development runs a variety of groups and specialized programs throughout the year that can be utilized as a standalone service, or as a supplement to individual therapy. Our group programs are developed based upon our client’s needs and typically run in 12 to 15 week sessions during the school year. During the summer, our camps run daily for the full length of summer break and can be customized to meet your child’s needs. We do require an intake meeting prior to joining a group or summer program to ensure that your child is placed properly. However, we welcome new clients at any point during the session!
In addition, we also offer a variety of therapeutic modalities and specialized programs that are often utilized in conjunction with individual therapy. The modalities assist in fostering progress and enhancing skill. Our clinicians are certified in a variety of treatment modalities such as Integrated Listening Systems® and Interactive Metronome®. Through a careful assessment of your child’s needs and concerns, our skilled clinicians can assist in recommending supplemental services to enhance their development.
